McCaw, John M., Pvt., Co. K, age 18, enlisted for 12 months October 17, 1861, at Ooltewah, Tenn., paid December 31, 1862, died city hospital February 14, 1863, at Vicksburg, Miss., buried Potters Field Grave No.775.


 


John M. McCaw, age 18, signed on 17 Oct 1861 in Ooltewah, Tenn., for 12 mos. He appears to have taken off for seventeen days (see card at right), but returned to his company.
 

 

 

 

 

 

He died 14 Feb 1863, Vicksburg.
