Douglass, R. G., 3rd Sgt., Co. G, 43rd Tennessee Infantry, age 20, enlisted October 19, 1861 at Knoxville, Tenn., as Pvt., appointed 3rd Sgt. June 20, 1862,  died in hospital May 7, 1863, believe he died at Hosp. No 3, Vicksburg, Miss., and is buried in Potters Field Grave No. 1074.
