Waters, Hamilton was b. 1835 in Warren Co., Miss. He d. 12 Jul 1907 at age 72. His service record is under Hamp Waters.

He fought in CSA Wood’s Regiment under Wirt Adams, Co. F/H, Miss. Cav. He enlisted 28 Sep 1861 in Little Rock, Ark. Being in the cavalry, he was paid for the use of his horse. When he voluntarily re-enlisted 17 Sep 1863, he was 27. He gave his nativity as Louisiana, his town/county as Moorhouse, his occupation as farmer, and his residence as Monroe, La. In May, 1865, he was paroled at war’s end at Gainesville, Ala. (fold3.com/image/20/121242907/)
