Reuban Slack, Pvt, 27 La Inf, Co. C, enrolled at Rapides, La, on 30 Apr 1862. He was present on the May and Jun 1862 roll. On the 1 Jul to 1 Nov 1862 roll, it is noted that he died at Miss. Springs on 3 Jul 1862.
