E, 43rd Tennessee Infantry, age 18, enlisted November 5, 1861, at Rogersville, Tenn. as 4th Cpl., elected 4th Sgt May 10, 1862, died in the hospital of fever May 30, 1863 [burial records show a Lawson, no rank, regiment, etc., who died May 24, 1863 and buried in Potters Field, Vicksburg City Cemetery]
