Yeiser, Archibald L., b. 1810; d. 12 Oct 1872, aged 62 years at death. 28th Regt. Miss. Vol. is on grave marker (28th Miss. Cav.), Co. I. He was age 51 when he enrolled 13 Mar 1862 in Vicksburg. His horse was valued at $150, and a note states the horse was “Owned and put in service by Mrs. W. S. Jones.” According to the company muster roll card of 13 Mar to 30 Apr 1862, his horse was valued at $250; at that time he was discharged for disability by Col. Starke 23 Apr 1862.
